RSDL Christmas Card

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

RSDL Christmas Card

Post by nwallace »

Did anyone else who got the RSDL Christmas card in their E-Mail look at it and think it doubles up as an advert for new content?

Maybe the clue is what's on the card. Anyone know which loco that is?

I didn't get a card either. They must have crossed me off their Christmas list!

The last add-ons from RSDL have been a 66, 158, modern day wagons and the IOW pack so hardly another steam engine. ;)

The Steam Loco is a LMS 4F, I believe, but the rim on the chimney is too large :-?

I think it looks a bit thick and wide, which makes it look big. The 37 screenshot that Derek posted once made the 37 look small against the wagons, it could just be the angle of the way it was taken.

The Smokebox number gives it away.

You could be right 777fred, the shot is from a very low angle.

The loco is definitely a 4F though I didn't know RSDL are doing one as well.

I had this sent to me today. Presumably works for people logged in to the RS site. It's a brill shot and shows off the abilities of the new sim nicely.
