Tis the season to be jolly!

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

One of the releases will be standard, but not a Standard. Go West, young man, is all I can say.

If the Spam Cans were standard with anything other than Spam Cans, you'd be bang on right. No no, I'm talking Standardisation, on a grand scale. As I said before, it'll cost you One and a Tanner.

All that dark green copper topped junk was highly standardised. I suspect that is what is being alluded to here...

One and a tanner, or 1/6, or one shilling and sixpence, or 7.5p, or 7.5P, or 7XP, or Britannia Class 4-6-2.
No Christmas sherry this time - I think I originally meant 7XP.

Either a Hall or a Castle would be nice.

A Castle is very high on my to-do list, though the beautiful Scott class will have to come first, I think.

Would that be Richard Scott or Royal Scot?

There's very little nicer than an original, unrebuilt Fowler Royal Scot (except perhaps an original Patriot) but I'm not sure about an unrebuilt Richard Scott.

Neither, actually. A Scott is the 4-4-2 version of the Saint Class, all of them named after people and places in the Waverly novels by Sir Walter Scott, hence the class name.
