GWR Collet 2251 0-6-0 tender loco

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Thanks very much :)

Not sure about the wheelslip. Maybe you need to add more stock?

Another picture, this time showing the clean and dirty locos, with the clean tender having an early BR emblem:-

Thank you, very much :)

I'm pleased to say that the locos have now been uploaded to UKTS:-

Click to view more informationBR Collet 2251 0-6-0 Tender loco [10331745 bytes] - Collet 0-6-0 BR versions (kngtrains).zip
File ID: 20197 Date: 29 Nov 2008 - 1461 Downloads

I've included 3 versions of the loco:-

An unweathered version along with an unweathered tender.

A weathered version, plus weathered tender.

A weathered version that only included the running numbers known to have worked on the S&D .

The included readme file has all the info on the naming conventions used.

Hope you like them.

Cheers,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin for the nice weathered loco, while on the subject on weathering, there are two very good sets of coal wagons on the sim,
any chance someone could weather these to compliment Kevins great locos please.

Thanks very much for these.

I'm particularly impressed with the restrained weathering you used. Some "weathered" engines look far too dangerous to drive but this one is spot on. Full marks for a superb finish.

Kev, if you ever decide to make the pannier version of the 2251 class, I have detailed blueprint drawings of the 94xx from the GWR Journal, including plans for the cab interior.

Thanks very much for the comments :)

I would be interested in seeing the 94XX plans, Longbow. Maybe you could email them to me?

(My email address is in all my loco readme files)

Cheers,
Kevin
