Prussians, actually, since that nice lady Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

Nelson died in 1805. Victoria came to the throne in 1837. I doubt Nelson would have even known who she was.

Re: DT MK1s
Just to put things into historical perspective, Richard Trevithick built the world's first steam locomotive in 1801, well before Trafalgar and while Napoleon was invading his neighbours on foot and horse. Horses and mules were the main form of transport at the time and the Napoleonic wars created a world shortage of the animals. It could be argued that this was a major factor in the invention and development of the steam locomotive.
I wonder how many Mk1's Puffing Devil (Trevithick's engine) would manage.

Those Germanic's get everywhere. What, with the Franks, Angles, Saxons and Vikings, did Hitler think he was trying to achieve? Besides, he could have caused more damage in less time to British infrastructure by simply hiring Dr Beeching!kingsgate wrote:Prussians, actually, since that nice lady Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

Anyway, is that an abstract clue or is it a case of having to have v2 installed?
With regards to the supplied scenario's, could you talented fellows try and showcase the purchased product a bit more? Driving in the cab, I don't really feel like I've purchased any new coaches. I do however get the impression that RSDL's claim that signaling is fixed with v2 is a little premature. Maybe it ties in with the dispatcher, but even I can quickly write a scenario where the signaling man suffers a heart attack and is thus unable to perform his duties and release the control/home signal on a clear path!
Top marks for your DRM policy too! It's nice to feel I've bought the product, not rented it for an indeterminable period.

Puffing Devil didn't have brakes.
They were for sissies in those days so the guard will have to drag his foot along the ground!

Re: DT MK1s
We do try with the scenarios, but it is rather tough showcasing coaches when there's only certain locos available to haul them, something we hope to redress in due course. Sadly there's only so many rakes of MK1s that can pass you before it becomes a tad monotonous. We'll see what we can do with the steam ones.

Re: DT MK1s
I've run into a problem though. At around 8:50 (game time) in the scenario "School Trip 1" I pulled up at a red light just outside Durham. Just ahead was a local train 2T14 creeping into the loop at around 0.05 mph. It eventually (08:59) came to a complete standstill with 3 of its 5 coaches still fouling the main line.
Has anyone else had this problem?
