It is by no means a moan when hinting that self-installers would be much appreciated, more a plea for simplifying the complex process of upgrading and improving RS!!
I have limited knowledge of file tweaking and after several hideous and costly mistakes (3 total re-installs so far) I am terrified to muck about with anything in this sim. If you boffins out there are clever enough to dabble so deep into the sim then surely adding a mere self-installer should be childs play and would make your work much more widely available for the masses and not just fellow boffins!!

Total respect to all you who create and modify but I hold my hands up and say I have no idea and no inclination to muck about with files so self-installers would be greatly and thankfully received.

I see tweaking with RS as like walking a minefield. One wrong move and KABOOM the whole thing goes up in smoke and your sanity with it............... and I'm a veteran of 3 direct hits!!!
