New Nvidia Driver 178.13

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

I tried the Nvidia 178.13 a couple of weeks ago on a fresh Vista 64/SP1 OS along with the Creative beta drivers for my PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty. They work great with KRS.

A new driver was released last week from Nvidia (178.15) that many are claiming are better than the 1778.13’s, I haven’t had a chance to try them yet. The “official” non-beta Creative drivers should be coming soon as the current betas have been out for a while now.

Hi

I t seems to struggle still on Rail Sim so i have unloaded it yet again. It could be the Mk2 Patch which by the way is not very good
1 You can't save any Activities 2 I believe it ruins all the Signalling,I thought it was supposed to be an improvement.
Anyway i will stick with Mk 1

No problems here with the 178.13’s and the MK2 update, excellent image quality along with very good performance.

Here are some screens taken with the 178.13’s with KRS/MK2 and the new US wagon pack. They were orginally taken at 2048x1536 resolution with 4XAA and 16XAF.
