Hi there folks...
I downloaded some files from the Zone Reloaded Community Forums, for KRS - some passenger cars and freight cars. All of these required the files to be dropped into the Passenger or Freight folders in KRS Railvehicles (you know the path I mean, by now, anyway, as I do) but I didn't really find any adequate help as to exact paths in sequence, as I often do, which is helpful indeed. I placed the files in the most logical places, and loaded KRS and my route.
Tried to place at least nine vehicles on the track to see if they were working OK, and found only couplers showing, indicating I'd placed the files wrongly. I'm now worried I may stuff the lot up if I try to place any files elsewhere to see what happens, so reckon I may need some help here, as to exactly where to place the following vehicles, if anyone could be as kind as to help me out with more detailed instructions, or point me to something more helpful as to the right places to put the files ?
Anglia Mk3 Buffet
Anglia Mk3 Second
Arriva Mk2 Second
BR IC Mk1 Brake
BR Mk1 Brake DE
BR Mk1 Brake RM
BR Mk2 BSO Blue
Mk1 Brake Departmental
Mk2 BSO GNER
Thanks for any help offered. I put all these folders into the Passenger folder in Railvehicles, by the way. What have I done that's not right, can anyone tell me, please ?
Regards...

Did you delete the Blueprints.pak file in the Assets\\Kuju\RailSimulator folder?
When RS starts it looks for a Blueprints.pak file to tell it what assets it's got in that subfolder. If you delete the file, RS recreates it by scanning the subfolders and building a new list of assets. If you don't delete it, RS doesn't know about the new stuff you've added.

If you downloaded them from other sites them the most obvious solution would be to ask on their forums ?

Re: Some Other Downloads...
2 cents on deleting Blueprints.pak.
Re: Some Other Downloads...
The last shower didn't send me down, thanks for the vote of confidence, anyway. I DO know about the Blueprints.pak files, and DID do that several times, but all the cars listed only show up as couplers. I went to the forums at that site, and saw a similar problem to mine, and yet again, the main suggestions were to delete all copies of the Blueprints.pak files, which I've since done, with no luck so far. This is weird really. Some cars have shown up, and others haven't.AndiS wrote:2 cents on deleting Blueprints.pak.
When I had a similar problem recently, I checked for problems and found some, like double folders, so did what was necessary, and got them working, but these new files seem to be bugging the heck outta me so far. I'll have to keep trying and see what eles I can do, before trying again for help. Cheers.

Re: Some Other Downloads...
That happened to me also with a different download...
What i found was ( 2 Things ) the extracted files were in a sub folder eg: Anglia Mk3 Buffet\Anglia Mk3 Buffet\assetts... etc..etc...
and the other was forgetting to copy and paste the ,GeoPcDx file ( i think )...
Anyway....Good luck sorting it out......
Ill download the said files ( if i can ) and check out the .nfo
Cheers
Brian
***EDIT***...............This is where you may have gone wrong
Now Go into RailVehicles, Diesel, HST. (3 seperate folders, one inside the other)
This is the place where you want to paste your coppied folder.
Mk3 coaches are installed into the HST folder as they are part of an HST consist. Some coupling have been changed to dropdown buckeye to allow you connect them to other engines.
