Just to let you guys know, if you've purchased the Mk2 Coach Pack from Digital Traction you are now entitled to the first batch of free content. This comes in the form of 2 new liveries, consisting of Virgin and Scotrail.
You can grab them for free from our Download section at the
Digital Traction website.
We also have some new scenarios in the works alongside the aforementioned MK1 RBR, which will both be available when ready.

Thank you. I will certainly buy more of your stuff if this amount of extra free content to add to your future packs comes out.
Those Virgin ones will be very useful.

The Mk2e coaches never appeared in NSE livery. The Mk2a coaches did: NSE textures for those are already available.

Nice reskins! Is there any chance of changing the window surrounds on the Virgin Mk2s? At the moment it looks really quite wrong

Good link here in regards to 'Southern' MK2a/b/c rolling stock ->
http://www.semgonline.com/coach/brmk2_1.html
Interesting snippet "Then in late September 1992 the rakes were further reduced to seven coaches. In these latter of locomotive hauled operation days four later Mk2 s were introduced into these rakes. Mk 2d TSO 5687, Mk 2e 5795 - these had their Intercity markings removed and NSE flashes were applied next to the coach numbers - plus Mk 2d FKs 13575 and 13563 still running in blue and grey livery"
So it seems that NSE (as it was at the time) did have at least one MK2d & e carriage, although I really can't remember seeing any rakes whizz pass my secondary school with "Intercity" liveried stock, all I can remember is Blue Grey mixed with NSE painted stock behind the Class50s...*sniff* them were the days, along with the Class33's pulling REPs / TC's towards the South West before the plastic pigs (442's) were fully in operation.
Lucky for me, my middle school and secondary school both backed onto the same stretch of line (Waterloo - Woking) so in the mid 80's & to the mid 90's if I got bored in lessons I just looked out the window watching the trains, and break time / lunchtime spent standing in goal on the playing fields watching the trains until the ball got near me.
*Cough* That's enough of my life story I think..
Edit: Here's a blurry pic of a Class50 pulling a rake of mixed MK2's past my local station sometime in the mid / late 80's (I think) :
(sorry for OT)

It was something I'd noticed but we were keen on getting content out to our customers as soon as possible. I'll ask our coach master in a few days about modifying the unwrap to suit different coloured window surrounds. The headaches he's endured this evening in order to get the content out when we did was enough to drive most men insane.

Many thanks for additional liverys. With regards to the Mk2a - oh if only we had a class 50.

Why? Does it bare any resemblance to the reskin I did...
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... 3abccece9d or the modified versin that phat2003uk did...
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... 3abccece9d ?
I tip my hat to DT for their quick reskinning... however, had I been off, I'd have probably had a go myself

Just purchased the Coaches and downloaded the re-skins. Noticed the extra Brake Vans also. Excellent work and I look forward to future products from D.T.
Thanks and Regards James.

I'll echo the comments made by
Retro well worth the small outlay for these vehicles. Bought and downloaded a little bit earlier and have run one of the scenarios (Oxford to Reading - Engineering works scenario).
My only criticism which someone else noticed in another thread, is that the roof is a bit too glossy when compared to the default Kuju / RSDL stock. Wouldn't be so bad if it was only shown up on sunny weather patterns as there is some shine in real life, but seems wrong when it's dull and cloudy.
I'm not grumbling - honest!

These Coaches are great love em, have to agree too that the roofs are a bit shiny, maybe it will get fixed with a future patch?
