Digital Traction's Mk2E Coach Pack now available!

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Hi

I have not downloaded yet but really pleased to see DT getting some financial reward at last for the obvious amount of time and effort put in so far into these models and those in progress.
That is not to take anything away from those who work very hard indeed to give us freeware models of excellent quality and are essential contributors to the development and continuation of this simulation.

I will download later - twice for two installations - lucky old DT.

kingsgate,

Could you please check with your sales provider?

The link doesn't come up when I'm clicking directly on the banner and even if I bring the page up by right clicking, after filling my info, the amount to be charged is nil (which I guess is not a bad thing :P ), so I can't complete the purchase, either by CC or PayPal.

Hi

I have the same problem.

I have had to copy the URL by right clicking it and paste it into new broswer window.

The URL is:

http://sites.fastspring.com/digitaltrac ... oachespack

Hope this helps.

This is, I'm afraid, a classic example of trying to run before we can walk. Thankfully, we are learning. The issues with the shop are now solved, it was a small matter of setting prices in US dollars instead of Pounds Sterling. The links on the site are now working properly, too, after a brief panic by three of the team members when we realised nobody could get into the shop via the link! It's now all sorted, so by all means, come and spend your money, you know you want to, and we definitely want you to...all the best, chaps.

Looks brilliant :D

Well done DT :)

And the mk1s will be a very welcome addition (as no offence to RSDL cos i know you guys can build stock to a very high standard, but the default Mk1s look a bit boxy) so some new realistic ones will be very very welcome on the S&D and will really show RS off IMO (espicially with all those steamers you have  ) :)

Keep up the great work guys  8)

We've got a definitive book on MK1s, and I work with a chap who used to work at Doncaster Carriage Works, so ours should, hopefully, be accurate. (He's threatened to kick me if they're not!) We're going to do a variety of types, naturally, and we'll let you all know what they are when we've got something to show you.

kingsgate wrote:Unfortunately, timing was not on our side. We realised, last minute, that the catering coach we wanted to do wasn't in our inventory. Some furious searching has brought it to light, and it's now in construction. All those who purchase this set up to the release of our MK1 RBR will get said coach free, and once the coach is released, the set price will be adjusted accordingly. Hopefully this will make the price of the set a little more palatable, I only wish we'd been able to include the coach from the beginning.

Tor-K
Ahh, that does make the price make far more sense, especially if the catering coach comes in a wide enough range of liveries/variants to enable it to be used in the steam era, too.

As stated before, the RBR won't be available in steam era colours, as they were created in the 70s, by refurbishing Restaurant Buffet cars. However, we will do the unrefurbished version in various steam era liveries, all those that are applicable. Contrary to initial concerns, we're not a mean hearted lot! It's just we mistimed a little, and didn't get the message across as well as we should have done. Be kind, gentle customer, this is our first time at this lark, asides for a little dabbling in Trainz content.
