hi,
3rd and 4th rail is all done with mirrors and pixie dust
My observation of the IOW track is that it has no 3rd rail when you use the track to creat a route. True, the IOW track rule will create a track which has 3rd rail set as its electrical supply charateristic but the visible presence of the 3rd rail is an additional process. Based on previous conversations on this topic the third rail is achieved by the use of a loft object and added to the rail by the selection/offest process. This I have got to work well. some evidence can be see at

I have yet to create the various bits and pieces required to fill in the gaps through junctions for the 4th rail. They will be scenery objects placed as required. It is a work in progress.
