What would you like to see in a Rail Simulator upgrade?

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Hi Derek

I mentioned that way because you would still have crew on board ? if you just switched it off... may be wrong :D

Adam, I fail to see how this is possible. Surely this would mean engine smoke is able to be controlled by RPM?

Dumb queston here whats a preloader? :o
Wotcha Overmarze! A preloader does exactly what it says on the tin, it preloads stuff into memory for the graphics card to use straight away rather than waiting for it to be processed from the hdd thus causing the stutter due to lag! or so i believe.

Mart
MSTS doesn't have this feature too? because if it did, the current add-ons would run a whole lot smoother than they do at the moment. Has anyone made one or is train sim too far gone? i hope it's in MSTS 2

Hi RSAdam,

I can't find a row called "Animation Style". There's only one for "Animation name"... so, where should I add the style? Is it possible to make a non-continuous animation for the engine start? That's what I want to do.

Thanks!

And MUCH MORE build-in textures for the terain!

I think of farmland without crops....
Grass land.
Rough country farmland.
To get a feel of it: look at Google > Belgium, Holland, Germany and the rest of it.
And look also at the colors.

hi, ...

Beautiful would be if the players on AI trains could jump up and ride.
Only when the "1" Tate pushes the cab and you should enter the train as the driver control.

How could you as a silent companion traveling with the KI and the landscape.

This maybe one or the other animated train travelers.
A nice idea would be a woman with a pram.
