Just downloaded the DEV tools from RS website, hit the run button and an error message appeared saying DEV tools not compatible with this version of RS???? I had the mk1 upgrade installed so I have uninstalled the whole of RS and re-installed from scratch and still the same error message
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate this game............................
Any ideas anyone??

means: install RS then install Devtools and finally install Upgrade.RSDevTool Users

If you have a European Installation and you have added the RSDevTools:
Install Upgrade Mk1 to get a fully up to date copy of Rail Simulator. This will also give you the latest version of RSDevTools. You will not need to install the latest RSDevTools seperately.

Hi,
I would also suggest deleting the Rail Simulator folder and it's contents before installing it again.(backing up anything that you have created and want to keep)

That only applies if you have a previous version of the dev tools. If you don't then you must install then upgrade to mk1 and then install the dev tools.
In this case seeing you have reinstalled the next step should be to install patch and then the latest devtools from the RSDL site and it should work.
