DEV tools

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Yes. Read the manual.

If you have a European Installation and you have added the RSDevTools:
Install Upgrade Mk1 to get a fully up to date copy of Rail Simulator. This will also give you the latest version of RSDevTools. You will not need to install the latest RSDevTools seperately.
means: install RS then install Devtools and finally install Upgrade.

Hi,
I would also suggest deleting the Rail Simulator folder and it's contents before installing it again.(backing up anything that you have created and want to keep)

best regards

That only applies if you have a previous version of the dev tools. If you don't then you must install then upgrade to mk1 and then install the dev tools.

In this case seeing you have reinstalled the next step should be to install patch and then the latest devtools from the RSDL site and it should work.
