Just downloaded the new Small Stream linear object, and it installed okay, but I couldn't find it listed with the other Water items when clicking on Linear Objects and the water icons. I found it by clicking on the Linear Objects and Walls icons. Could be a blip on my set up, but thought I'd just leave a pointer here for anyone else who has the same problem.
Regards from an Old Chap.

Hiya,
You may need to add Dereks object list via the Object Set Filter before it is visable.
To do this, click on the house icon at the top and then in the middle fly out window, click the blue circle with orange triangle. This brings up the Object Set Menu on the right where you can add various sets by different authors.

Re: Couldn't find Small Stream after installing
Hi, thanks for the reply. I've tried to locate the blue circle with orange triangle but can't find one! I've got the dev tools installed but don't use them myself, and I've got the update 1 to RS.
I installed the small stream in exactly the same way as I've installed several locos and wagons and the BR-LMS signals, by editing in Free Roam on my copied and altered S&D route, that is by clicking on the blue cube with orange triangle/arrow, then selecting Derek from the right flyout window.
The small stream has installed okay and I can use it, no probs, it's just that it appears in the list with platforms, walls, etc, but not with the other Water/Rivers/Streams! It appears on its own as Water Small Stream just after the list of Walls.
I'm okay with it there as I know where it is, and I just mentioned it here in case the same thing happened to anyone else and to let them know where to look.
regards from that Old Chap.

When you create a scenery objects blueprint you can select the category that it goes into.. I suspect Derek just selected the wrong one.
So, he is human! I had my suspicions!

Old Chap is right.
The small stream is perfectly installed and usable but it does not appear in the same category as other waterways.
Hobnobs confiscated from Derek this time.

Then locate the .bin file, (most likely found as Assets/RSDerek/xxx/smallstream.bin or so), view it with TMB (alternatively, drag it into serz.exe and drag the resulting XML file into a browser window.
After DisplayName, you will find Category. It will give you a clue as to how Derek categorised his object.

Hi Derek
Not a major problem, but panic sets in after installing as you know you have done everything correctly but ' Where the heck is it?'
Thanks for this stream, a useful addition to the waterways collection.
