Patch/Upgrade

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Guys, when the new tools go up, don't grab them, you don't need them.
The Upgrade will modify your existing tools to make them the same as the new ones.

People with the European version only need the Upgrade.

Only those with the NA version need to get the tools if they want them.

Also, if you do get the new tools you will not be able to use them on the retail copy until you have the Upgrade.

I'm back after buying it when it first came out, but for some reason it kept crashing my previously rock solid Vista PC. Since then I have added a Radeon 3850 and am foaming at the nmouth to get this upgrade! Cmon!!!!!!!!!!! :crazyeyes:

So if I understand that correctly Adam, the UK patch will contain Cajon Pass, and the US patch Newcastle-York? :o

That the upgrade Mk1 can be downloaded from UKTrainSim :D
Download will be at several sites, http://www.rail-sim.de/ has announced on the forum that the will place the official upgrade Mk1.

There will be a number of different sites that will be hosting the upgrade.

This might seem a bit of a silly question but ive just reformated my comp and installed rail sim but ive gone and deleted the dev tools will i still be able to get them back.?
