But you use Core 2 Extreme QX9650 which is multi core top of the line Intel CPU.
I don't want to repeat myself, but I ran Trainz 2006 and obtained a constant, smooth as can be 60FPS with E6600 and GeForce 8800GT.
I'm very confident that KRS is strongly CPU oriented, therefore the end user should invest in his CPU upgrading at first.

If the software was not written to take advantage of multi-cores then a dual core or quad core isn’t going to do a bit of good. That is why I said that it might be possible in the future for KRS to use the extra cores to help with scenery loading. The same thing was accomplished when ACE’s released the SP1 patch for FSX.
