The video is titled "Trainsimming 2009", produced by 3DTrains and shows several US engines at a traverser.
The difference to KRS is that the cab might be considered a little bit nicer, but I cannot really tell. And there is a person walking to the control stand of the traverser, and walking away, and he looks a bit more coordinated than KRS passengers. However, it is not clear how much this one sequence can be generalised; you can certainly produce a video where some KRS passengers perform plausible for the five or ten seconds they are on scene.
The big questions are: Will it be more or less flexible than KRS? Will it have more or less bugs? Will the docu be better or worse? And will the implementation of the technical details be more or less realistic? We will not know the answers before the release. The fact that 3DTrains produce beautiful models has nothing to do with the quality of the simulation; and in terms of good-looking engine models, KRS is a full success.

The video is a 3D animation, not footage of a simulator.AndiS wrote:The big questions are: Will it be more or less flexible than KRS? Will it have more or less bugs? Will the docu be better or worse?
