Digital Traction announces new loco.

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Well I like the fact that nobody has a clue what they're doing, saves me all those feelings of inadequacy compared to the "experts" :D

Here you can't just search the forums and dig up the answer.. you have to break ground yourself ... or wait till someone else does :D

Derek I know you know what you are talking about... just wish we knew as well

Well I for one cant wait for the new locos to hit the shelves. along with the class 08 they will be a most welcome addition to the stables. Now if someone would like to do a 4F that would indeed be the icing on the cake for me. Just one small point. If I had uninstalled my copy of RS and/or put it up for resale, I wouldnt really have any interest in continued contributions to the Pro/Anti RSD discussion as it really wouldn't concern me any more.
That's what i meant about trolls lol! :-?

As the person who originally led this thread off-topic, for which I have apologised publicly and privately, please can I ask a Moderator to lock it, as it is serving no further purpose.

A number of people have expressed their frustration at their difficulties in expanding Rail Simulator, for which they have been called trolls.

The fact is that they are long-standing and experienced developers, and without them the hobby will suffer in the long-term. It is time for a period of reflection, in the hope that the forthcoming updates will help everyone move forward.

Whilst it is nice to see the new BR 2-6-4 Tank, I would like to see someone producing a Class 4F or 3F 0-6-0 and Class 2P 4-4-0 Tender Locos and even the 3F tank.I would have thought these would be easier to construct seeing they are inside cylinder locos.I would love to have ago myself but I'm afraid my computer skills are not that good. So here's hoping.

Hi
the digital traction models are looking great,But a question! will they be creating say a GWR, king, star, castle, saint, manor,Etc.
Remember it was the big four, not the medium three :D
Heres hoping!

Sensibly enough DT are concentrating for now on locos suitable for the default routes.

With the sheer amount of the content DT are producing I'd be amazed if no GWR locos appeared at some stage. Am I right in thinking most of the above would have been seen in and around Paddington. No doubt someone will take the Oxford - Paddington route back in time to steam days. :D

Now that idea really excites me! and I'm not even a steam fan! Just what the interactive RailSim cabs do to a guy, I suppose... :)

Oh, and now the debate has died down a bit, I might have to add that the DT locos look awesome. Really looking forward to all of them, unquestionably!

Kind regards

The 25 will be good, I don't know where the 87 will fit in though :)
