Error using 'RS Tools TMB'

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Post by phat2003uk »

When I try and delete a scenario using the above tool, an error saying, 'Stop Statement Encountered'. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Worked for me on both Scenarios and Routes. You have to close and reload the program to check the deletes they don't vanish from the list as soon as you press yes to delete. It did delete the stuff in the Scenario .bin file and the folders.
Have you copied SERZ.exe to your Windows\System32 folder or are you missing any of other required files listed in the instruction Read Me file. I am using v3.0.4.

What does the program mean by 'The Missing Bits'? Am still having the same problem by the way after your suggestions.

Files needed VB6 runtime files RichTx32.ocx copy included. comdlg32.ocx.
I am assuming the missing bits refers AFAIK to the fact that the program was a temporary one until the Dev Tools came out. I thing it was assumed that Route and Scenario Deletion would take place under the Dev Tools. It didn't so the program covers the bits that Kuju missed
Version 3.09 has been released today.

I cannot delete scenarios either. Anything under the TOOLS button gives me a run-time error. I have to go into the BIN file and delete the scenario the cac-handed way. I have 3.09 and all the correct bits and bobs in the system32 folder. I have sent feedback to the author but am still waiting for a reply.

Sorry Richard that was an error in the v3.0.9, if you download it again all should be well. Latest is v3.0.10 - I think earlier versions did work OK, I was checking some code and left that STOP statement in during debugging and omitted to remove it before uploading.

I have a new version which now Converts MSTS .mkr files to RailSimulator .csv files.

Have also improved the Delete Routes/Scenarios to remove them from the list as they are deleted.

Don't assume anything, I'm on XP Home. I also get a 380 invalid property when trying the setup folders button. I have a Registry fixer which is supposed to fix run-time errors, but it hasn't in this program. My registry is in good nick, apparently.

It's a tad annoying, but I can work round it when it comes to deleting routes and scenarios.

Are you using the latest version? One other user reported this error, on a route I have, but I could not reproduce it here. He was using XP, I doubt if Vista64 would have anything to do with it.

I will see if I can reproduce this, but without the exact same set of routes/scenarios you have, it may be quite difficult.

At what exact point does this occur? i.e. When you select the Scenario to delete or when you click the Delete Scenario button?

Can you send me a screen print showing the Delete Route/Scenario screen with the error message as well, this might help.
