Credit where credit is due.

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Yes, indeed, good feelings should abound here. Here's my assurance none of what I said was intended to be taken too seriously, but it may have been misconstrued as such, a lapse in my better judgement, for which I apologise. Ironically, I too have a mother in hospital at the moment (for over a month) with a mini-stroke, and brother who spent most the weekend writhing on the floor with foot cramps, so all in all I suppose I was suffering from a negativity attack, so not a good time for me, either.

I sympathise with you, John, and understand completely how you feel at the moment, so let's agree to disagree about RS at this point in time and return to some cheerful arguments, sounds like we need them.

Cheers n good wish

When you read about the problems John and Bazza have at the moment it makes the issues here seem very trivial.
I to, would like to appologise for some irresponsible posts that i have made recently,i have been on the forums long enough to know what flames and what does not! so i should know better!
i echo the sentiments above and would like to draw a line under the last few weeks.
with kind regards

Yes sorry to hear about the illness in your family John. My own father is currently in hospital with breathing difficulties (he is 82 and needs oxygen most of the time) and being 300 miles away is a bit worrying as you are relying on what the hospital staff tell you.

But back to RS, I'm now starting to look at the Scenario Editor and coming round to the POV, let's see what we can do with this thing. The plug-in for 3D Canvas is a major boost particularly as I now found the TSM source files for all my MSTS route models so it's a simple matter of import, re-texture and export. Not likely to be doing any route building before getting the new laptop but I'd certainly like to have a crack at something. Better to try and if all else fails admit defeat rather than grizzle on the sidelines.
