Steam driving

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Steam driving

Post by rabid »

A wee question for those who already have KRS...

What is expert mode steam driving like compared to MSTS?
Does one control the regulator, reverser, cylinder cocks etc.?

All MSTS controls are available:
Regulator
Reverser
Vacuum/Air Brake
Firebox
Injector on/off and flow rate for each
Dampers
Blower
Shovelling Rate
Cylinder Cocks
Water Scoop
Small Ejector
The only new one is a handbrake.
