Quincy Jones just said

"I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news."

He said Jackson "had it all - talent, grace, professionalism and dedication". He added: "I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him.

Another Classic

Quincy Jones is the man.
I remember Michael in what he did give us.
But I don't forget the rest.

His Thriller album will possibly be one of the greatest albums of all time. Unfortunately he was never again able to capture such talent. Musically a great talent and one whose memory will live on through his albums. Personally though, I think he was a sad and tortured soul, I hope he can now rest easy.

The talent was always there you know.
Not the music...
He had to remain with Quincy Jones.

He was the personification of all that wrong with the music industry and celebrity in general. That said the man was obviously troubled and unbalenced and cut a tragic figure. I hope he managed to find some peace within himself before he died. Sadly I suspect not.

He got what he wanted - to go in a blaze of glory... 50 concerts in such a small space of relative time was a hard feat for anyone to beat. In his own mixed up, crazy life he still bowed out with a lot of respect - not many can say that but atleast he'l be remembered for what he's acheieved....
