My idea of getting them down safely means ensuring they don't fall on anyone after being shot.

From the BBC News website . .

BP said it did not have any major reports of fuel "stocking out" but that demand remained high and it was continuing to monitor the situation.

'Stocking out' ? 'Stocking out' ?

What are these people on for crying out loud !?

What a waste of an ambulance crew who could be be saving someone's life?

Act like a kid, be treated like a kid and don't let him down until he's learned his lesson :)

Where did all this 'loving' as in 'I'm loving this record' come from?

Also every DJ asks questions which make it worse like 'How much are you ***ing this ******** ?'.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if people parked their cars between the white lines?

They're not wide enough, and parking in the centre of a main road would cause chaos ;) :)

If they want white lines they could lay their sticks down and park between them!

Go on delete it!

Wot white lines?

:o

Isn't it funny? I was just about to press submit and I think I got what you meant. Car park white lines?

Worst thing is when you park, circumstances are such that the only space means you have a white line through the middle of your car and when you come out everyone else has gone and you look a right narna. (Bit of 60s phrasing there for our younger viewers!).

Well while we are on the subject of parking, I hate those people who park across two spaces and cant spend the few seconds it takes to back out and straighten up into one space. The other day outside our local newsagent, one such dimwit swung his car in from the road into the two last remaining spaces, blocking both.

I wish I had had the courage to park across him to stop him reversing out and gone to the shop.

And why are they always BMWs and Audis??? Or any car costing over £30 grand! Do they think they've earned two spaces because they've paid more for their cars??

...which is sad when, if it were a wardrobe you'd parked, you could have looked a right narnia.

Hi All,
Parking.
Those of you who know. Will know, we own a Motorhome 20ft X 7ft 5in. Try getting that in a marked bay, which are marked for maximum revenue not ease of parking.
Now my point, a car abusing the markings is ignored.
Our vehicle, which incidently cost £34.000, parked between the lines but overhanging the rear of the bay. Displaying a valid ticket. Is given a fixed penalty notice. On appeal we were told we should have paid for two spaces! There were no noticices to that effect. We were not preventing the other bay being used. Just shortening it.

I think the warden was just jealous that I got the vehicle in the space in the first place. Been there done that drove the wagons.

Needlees to say that council holiday area does not get our patronage any more.

Grumpy. I'll give you grumpy.
