Huh? You'r doing what? :o I do hope you don't let your opinions in the way, unlike the excuses for our media!

PS: By the way, does the UK want some state politicans that are worse than 5 year olds? (I, you should of heard them, one-way tickets off-course!)
Well to answer your questions :

Since the forum software upgrade when a new member registers their posts go into an approval queue so they can't be seen by the other members. Once the moderators are satisfied they can abide by the forum rules then they go on normal posting. Normally only takes 5 or 10 posts but in some cases way more. We don't generally edit posts before they are approved. Posts are either rejected with an explanation of to why or approved. This process stops new members spraying the forums with duplicate posts here there and everywhere about the same issues - which has happened in the past. It is all explained in the registration confirmation email.

There are some odd occasions where maybe someone has not got their quoting or image posting quite right that we do edit and then approve.

My views (and those of the other moderators) don't come into it - if the post conforms to the code of conduct it gets approved. I have approved many, many posts I did not agree with but the people posting them have every right to their opinion. I have approved posts that later the thread got locked but the initial post was within the code of conduct.

And to answer the second question - can we in the UK repeat the process from the 1800's and send you some unsavoury characters please ? I can think of slightly over 600 currently inhabiting the Palace of Westminister that should be first up against the wall when the revolution comes ;-)

No - we don't want your politicians in return - we already have enough to deal with with the Ken Livingston and Boris Johnson show thank you very much :-)

Given policticians all act like 5 year olds then SWMBO is theoretically capable of running the country - she is a school dinner lady well used to dealing with 5 year olds and putting them in their place :-)

And currently I am watching the forums like I do for a few hours most nights :-)
