At the moment I'm slowly being driven insane by the fire alarm, which some [insert choice of vicious expletetive here] has managed to break, so it won't stop going off. And the engineers aren't going to be here for 'a few hours'.

Got back a bit ago from a model train exhibit in Long Beach, there were lots of large layouts in different scales, and I got to meet the TV host of the show "Extreme Trains" (Can find it on iTunes) Then went to Terminal Island and saw double stack trains left and right. Fun day. :D

We did. They let us back in, but they couldn't turn off some of the alarms (one of which was in my flat). The engineers finally got here 5 hours after residential services phoned them. At least I didn't have any lectures the next day.

Hello Tom
If the alarm has been set off deliberately? then this is highly irresponsible.
Hopefully the culprit can be found and dealt with accordingly.
Hopefully the incident won't be repeated?
Kind regards Stephen
