The sun is out but damned cold out there this morning. Grass is growing, needs cutting again even though its into October!!?. Neighbours cat has left its calling card again, thinking of saving them up until I get a few pounds worth and throwing the whole lot in their front garden! well its there's, only returning what doesn't belong to me!! but generally quite this Sunday Morning.
Will be out there soon to wash the car.
Mistakes are a gift to prevent other from making the same.

Trees have lost most of their leaves outside my window. I get my own miniature version of the famous Finnish ruskea at this time of year, as my balcony overlooks a significant piece of woodland on a small hill.

Yesterday an entire flock of a small bird species I'm not famliar with descended on a tree which still had bunches of berries on it, and denuded it rather thoroughly in the space of about ten minutes.

Not sure what is going on in Bristol but here the usual stuff goes on.

The local chavs were outside the Tesco Express opposite where I stay during the week earlier. Then the police stopped by and they all cleared off. Looks like at least 1 cruise liner sailed tonight from Southampton since it went past the Isle of Wight all lit up like a Christmas tree. In the summer it is not unusual to see several go out at a time - massive white things on the horizon.

Looking outside now it looks damn cold. Condensation on the cars that will freeze if the temperature goes below zero. Can do without that tomorrow morning.
Kindest regards

Not much and it's a bit cold > 6°C and clear sky.
But I live in a quiet neighborhood.

Outside my house there's a fool in a Renault Clio spinning his front wheels trying to show off, Ooops, now he's gone over a speedbump and grounded out. Epic Fail!!!!!

That's the norm around here, Idiots trying to show off to their friends.

A big cold front just blew through this morning and it's nice and chilly. . . the weather channel says we will get a light frost sometime soon. The C-130s that normally fly around here are making low passes near my neighborhood- there's always perks to living near a base.

Hi. This morning I found ice on the bird bath. First time this Autumn but only one day later then last year. Might see snow before Christmas again?

We had cold weather the whole week.
And with some ice on the roofs, even now.

Hmmmm, a Christmas like last year :)

I've just had to chase a small bird out of my flat. It appears to have found it's way in by a window but then been unable to find it's own way out again. It wasn't particularly keen to leave by the extra routes I opened for it, but it also wasn't at all keen to be caught and taken to them!

This isn't the first time I've had to do this, though it is the first in this flat. I once discovered a seagull which had taken up temporary residence in my parents' loft, and which had proceeded to cover *everything* in :bad-words:. Fortunately I wasn't the one who had to clean it up. :P

I also once rescued a swallow from inside a barn, where it was quite determinedly attempting to fly out through a glazed window. In that case I had to actually take hold of it, folding it's wings back so it didn't hurt itself, and carry it to the wide open door where there wasn't any glass in the way. Of course as soon as I launched it into freedom, it went straight back to chasing flies as if nothing had happened.

Thanks, but only 2 trains per hour pass my house. (1 in each direction and sometimes freight train passes. :-? On Sundays no trains. :-? )

Back to what happens outside my house. Nothing.
