Cant make up its mind here

One minute sun is shining and it looks lovely out, next hail is lashing against the window and its blowing a huge squall. More of my side passage roof succumbed last night

At the moment overhead its really dark but over on the horizon i can see the sun shining.
Not many people have ventured out yet - its jolly cold in that northerly wind. The few regular dog walkers. My next door neighbour with all the cars has been in and out a few times, but not that many. The man opposite has even foregone his newspaper today and hasnt left home yet.
Learner drivers arent put off by the bad weather and they have been coming by in a fairly regular succession. One lady looked to be on her first lesson - at least she was driving so poorly and took a full 5 minutes to make a 3 point turn, spending much of that parked straddled across the road. It took her 5 or more attempts to engage reverse gear. Luckily its a quiet road.
No seagulls today. That usually means better weather coming. At least they didnt wake me up at 4am today. Maybe they've flown south for the summer.
And now its almost lunch time

where has the day gone?

Nothing much today. Its clear with high level cloud. Cold but the snow never arrived

Im bored

Ive spent half an hour converting services from the beta version of MEP to what i hope will be the final version. Ive done 10 services, only another 420 to go

im still bored
Nobody is in next door, all cars and trucks gone

neighbour across the way hasnt gone out yet (are there papers on easter Monday?). Ive done one load of washing - its in the dryer now, and a second load is in, one more to go afterwards
Im on my second cup of tea
The world continues turning

Usually its relatively peaceful, save for the cars going to and from the nearby Old Peoples Home. But opposite the road, they have the loft insulators in. So its pretty noisy here today.
Argh!

Usual sort of day here. High level cloud, a lot warmer but no rain. Next door have been coming and going most of the day, although ive been out some of the time. Neighbour over the road has gone out, must be the warmer weather. Learner drivers are still ferrying past taking it in turns to do their 3 point turns and then reverse round the corner opposite. My gardening chappie has just arrive to cut the grass and do some weeding.
Sometimes i wish something exciting would happen, like a jumbo jet attempting a force landing or the police helicopter swooping down and arresting some miscreant. Other the other hand its quite nice living in a quiet road

I wish some thing fun does happen. e.g. 4 Eurofighters flying Extremely low, and watching people duck, whilst Saluting the Pilots

Bright and sunny here today.
I slept in a little after waking with a Migraine in the early hours. Those pills really knock you out

Outside all the wheelie bins are out awaiting the various collection trucks, one for refuse, one for recycling, one for garden waste, but no sign of the trucks yet. Next door have gone off on a job, just one car remains awaiting a driver. Oops i spoke too soon, another car has just returned. There's yet another learner, thinking about the 3 point turn. UPS are delivering something to the house on the corner, I think a policeman lives there but he's never been round to say hello (or should that be "Evening All"

)
My grass looks nice now its freshly cut and a couple of blackbirds are chasing each other around in a squabble over that juicy worm for breakfast. Not much wind today (outside

) but i cant go out today as my cleaning lady comes this morning and the gardening chappie is coming back this afternoon to have another go at removing some of the jungle.
Back to msts. Ive got 402 consist names to cut and paste into srv files for MEP

Sorry to bump this thread up but I've got ice-cream van trouble outside my house. There's lots of cars parked in my road outside and the van is trynig in vain to execute a three point turn. There's now a heated argument between the driver of one of the vans and the driver of one of the cars.

Get to a high point, sit down and enjoy the fight.
Only thing it's doing here is raining.
