Pawn Brokers doing a roaring trade

Post by stephenholmes »

Good evening everyone
I have been watching this interesting feature from BBC News
It is quite sad that more and more people are turning to pawn shops for financial support in these straitened times
Kind regards Stephen

Indeed, a sad situation Stephen.
We here in Belgium we have "food banks" for less fortunate people.
There one can get free food or meals.
Do you have that too in England?

Pawn shops and food banks make the programme on Claridge's Hotel I watched the other night look particularly sick.
