Now we all know that the world is going to end today, the 21st December 2012.
But does anyone know at what time?
If I've only a few hours left, then I need to plan how to spend them... Have I time to have my Tea and a couple of pints first?

11.11 am .... but where ?
It has already passed this time in the antipodes (Mike Simpson are you still there

) which means that almost half the World has already gone
Never mind, it is still a great excuse for doing all those naughty things that you want to do before you go ..........

Perhaps that is why RSC has delayed the Donner Pass expansion...just in case we don't need it anymore....
Merry Christmas folks!

How very Euro-centric!! The Mayans obviously knew they were 6 to 8 hours behind Europe and adjusted the end of the world accordingly!

Glad to see the end of the world has happened.
Pity the replacement is identical but with more rain.

STOP PRESS !
After some frantic activity to work out why we are still here, the Press Office of the Mayans had issued a statement to say that they are very sorry but a bead had fallen off their abacus and their calculations were a few decimal points out
In fact the end of the World is now re-calculated to be 200012 assuming that mankind does not destroy it before then.

Got to laugh. The believers, once they realised the world wasn't going to end then decided that what it actually meant was not that the earth would blow up, incinerate etc. but that a new age would begin. Got to save face somehow!
Personally, I'd booked a seat on an alien spacecraft but it never turned up. Damn aliens, totally unreliable

Len

Afraid you're all wrong. Although 99.99% of the Earth avoided destruction, one small corner was completely devastated, my 19 year old daughters' bedroom. On opening the bedroom door I was greeted by a sight I never want to witness again. The whole area had been completely laid to waste, with clothes, magazines, books and other girly things scattered around, knee deep in some places.
I'm pleased to report that my daughter survived this apocalyptic event which occurred at 11.11 in the morning, being soundly asleep and well protected by her 15 tog duvet. When I asked her about it she said she hadn't heard a thing.
Regards,
Len
