SWMBO treated me to a trip to see Jesrey Boys. Those of you of my generation will understand I haven't been able to stop singing Four Seasons numbers since ......very badly BTW thoroughly recommended.

...well actually Alec having decided I needed to lose weight rather than talking about losing weight my tipple of late has been good old London tap water ...which I've always liked anyway. Frightening thing is that giving up booze has lost me nearly a stone in just over a month! Good news is I haven't felt any cravings so I'll not have to go to AA!

I have to say that musicals normally make me run a mile but this one has a great cast, is packed with most of their greatest hits, tells their story and never loses pace from beginning to end! trouble is you almost need a mortgage to go to the theatre in London nowadays although they do have cheaper seats for us seniors at most matinees.
