Oh happy days, the older I get the more I wish I could return to the 50's. Anyone remember these? Hours of fun :)

A 70s boy myself, I'm afraid, but my late father shared so much of his 50s childhood with me that much of the stuff on that page is familiar to me. We still have his Bayko set, by the way - I spent many happy hours of my childhood repeating what he would have done 25 years earlier. Nice to that cover of the Trains Illustrated Annual 1962 - I have my father's copy somewhere.

So I can sort of say 'happy days'... by proxy!

Hi Michael, this product was made from Bakelite an early form of plastic and was highlighted
by James May the other day in one of his shows that he does when not doing Top Gear.

Ah, Bayco. Before my time but my mum had a set I got to play with when I was older, wonderful stuff. Keep thinking of getting myself a set sometime...
