Following the news in this article, what we want to know is, "is this the beginning or the end?" :-? :-? :-?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-18702455

Is the Higgs-Bosun particle the equivalent of Pandora's Box? :-? :-? :-?

Bearing in mind that the Hadron Collider is circular, are we going round in ever decreasing circles?

Alec

PS I still consider that Douglas Adams got it right when he said that the answer was 42!

Oh my god. I expect Dr Who to make an appearance.

We are all doomed. The scientists are going too destroy society!

I know quite a few people who could be missing a few of these; so it's good that they've been located. Hopefully they'll start giving them out on the NHS free of charge :D

I have no idea what I'm talking about!

Chasing the Higgs-Bosun particle. It's in the same league as:

Chasing rainbows,
Outrunning your shadow,
Catching the Tooth-Fairy,
Getting a straight answer from a politician,
Selling your soul,
Making a profit from selling your old toothbrush.

Any suggestions what to do with a massive circular tunnel filled with very expensive junk when the project finishes?

Cheers Bazza

Hi Bazza

What I want to know is how you keep the coffee in the cup ..... when you're upside down .... :o

To answer Alecs original question ..... it is the end of the beginning.

Cheers
Jon

None taken, but I was wondering whether we should ask Alfie what it's all about?

Alec

PS There are times when I refuse to take too many things too seriously!

Apparently you can drive an F1 car upside down.
Try putting a bit of red bull in it.
