Oh dear - I hope that doesn't mean that Capt Bazza finally shot all the bots ;-)

They do outnumber the members sometimes - especially in the small hours of the UK morning. When I was over in Columbus a few weeks ago I was regularly online at 23:00 local time just before going to bed for the night so 04:00 here and on odd occasions I just had the bots for company.
Kindest regards

They can pick their way through the data more easily when there is no one else around :D

I see some of them are back now - I just got worried Bazza had rounded them all up, took them out back and shot them. Bot-icide ;-)

Quick, we got the bot surrounded and outnumbered. So let's smack it's bot ;-)

Makes a change from the early hours when the bots are surrounding Bazza and Big Peter.

Whilst fascinating to see the actual numbers, it is interesting to look at them as a percentage of the total current membership; 316 is only 1.5%! The all time record of 543 is only 2.6% of the current total membership - presumably the total membership at that time was probably a lot less and the percentage significantly higher.

The numbers only mean something if it could be shown how many of the total membership are premium members and how many of the total are still really active!

It is a bit worse than that really as the online numbers include guests so the actual members online at one time will be a lot less than the total. You can get a good idea of how many active members there are by looking under the Members tab and ordering the posts. There are thousands who have never made even 1 post.

This is not a problem, however, as guests are very welcome and hopefully gain much useful information from the site and even non-posting members probably just use the Library which is also very good for those that have created content to share with others.
