Good news (in a way) but I've just emailed Birmingham City Council to ask what, now that they've evicted the transport museum, exactly what they propose to do with an original tram shed that doesn't appear to have any viable financial future.

:(

Hi John

That looks like another one I fancy modelling .... Bedford 'Observation' coach ?..... which I think Dinky did.
I have to be careful with scale though, and over hanging front ends can cause problems on the tight bends.

I have uploaded a few shots of the 'Minic' buses I'm working on.

They weren't Nationals - they were Metro-Scanias. Lovely to ride on, fast as anything, but terrible fuel consumption and the gearboxes were far too tishy for the job.

And now it's gone full circle with the hybrids in Manchester - was driving this one last night; it's like driving a double deck golf buggy!

Loooove MCW Metrobus Mk1s, many a time spent watching these park up outside my primary school in Leaside Travel livery.

They are my second favourite type of bus. Routemasters are top.

Apparently there's an offer been made to convert it to an Asian banqueting suite.

Concrete over the sloping cobbled floor with the trams lines in it . . . .

I'd better say no more . . . . .
