When Tims site finally closed down we all had a mass migration over to Matts site in late 2001.
Slightly off topic but as may have been noted in the UK Finescale thread Tim's site is up and running as I recently downloaded his UKFS and track textures!

Hi All,
Having taken advantage of UKTS since 2001 soon after obtaining Train Simulator I was not sure it was what I wanted or what I could actually cope with, skill wise, (There are those who say I still can't cope 0

) But I subscribed in 2004 and the rest as they say is history.
Much appreciation from me to the team.
OH! and happy 10th.
As an afterthought and not getting into the who's best debate. The more RW, RS, OR and may be the hosting of obsolete commercial content are/is featured on the site, may be there will still be room for us stick in the muds.
more power to your elbows.
Good luck
Doug

Trainsimfiles was definately around first! I first joined at the age of 11 or 12, I'm 22 next week - and I can't believe this site is that old, a decade is a huge achievement for a web community
How time flies!

It started as a totally free download site with a forum; but don't think it could cope with the popularity and so disappeared for a while, hence the mass migration. TSF has made a return, but only for Tim's own projects.
