Shave?
Oh that's the thing I do when the beard gets too annoying, a choice between an itch scratchy face and one that's irritated by the foil, I should probably try a safety razor rather than electric.

I grew a beard, so shower only, and an extra five minutes in bed!

You have been to too many model railway shows then Doug

Plenty of those types there sadly. One person I stood next to yesterday watching the N Gauge modular layout prompted me to move 3 modules along to avoid the aroma

I shave in the bath.
...but don't the cut prickly hairs, ummm, prickle here and there?

This reminds me of many Model Railway shows with my Dad. You'd think they'd notice with the lack of people surrounding them, or would they consider themselves lucky to have the freedom to watch without anyone barging them?

Shave then shower, too relaxed after a shower to bother shaving after. On a related theme, in line with the latest Gillette TV ad, I took my Fusion razor in for its' MOT. The mechanic told me it passed by a whisker but if I'd have waited any longer I would have been in serious stubble.
Sorry!

Normally I shave before having a shower - for some reason that order seems 'natural'. Then if I've got time I trim my goatee with a beard trimmer, otherwise it looks messy.

I think the standard saying is the "Three Esses" - s***, shower and shave - and that describes the proper sequence too.

That's the order I used to adopt before going out in the early 60s except the second one was shave and the third shampoo !

Shower?
A flight of "squaddies" on the drill square.

Just remember it used to be a "cutthroat" business!
