Book about the British steam locomotives?

Hi,
I am starting to learn about the wonderful world of the British steam locos and I am looking for a book that gives me a comprehensive view of British steam locomotives of the 20th century. I would prefer the book that gives me an overview of all main classes and versions with medium technical details, short service descriptions and emphasizing of advantages and disadvantages of the locos. Good pictures clearly showing differences between classes are necessary but I don't prefer big photos covering the whole pages...

Your recommendations (and possibly links to amazon.com or bookdepository.com) are welcomed.

The best one I can think of is out of print but you can probably find it online. It was called "British locomotives of the 20th century" and the author was O. S. Nock.
