I think it was a comment on
Dose any one know
I have to say that I found your initial post somewhat hard to read as it consisted of one extremely long sentence.

Alright gents not everybody is perfect at spelling and sometimes the word is right in our heads but doesn't come out right on the screen 8) .

In reply to your question Johncas I'm unsure what route it takes but it could be purely for route knowledge so that the drivers would be able to take a certain diversion if necessary. Sadly though I don't know which diversion they'll be taking. I'd take a good book  .

Cheers,
Ali

I spoke to someone with the knowledge he says trains might be dirverted via corby and melton like steam trains are.
Steam trains are not allowed up the MML past kettering low bridges.
So if there doing maintinance they might go that way just wanted to know if they would be going that way

I believe everything's booked via a reversal at Leicester, then Manton and Corby, for quite a few Sundays now.

Edit: Just checked 'Rules of the Route', and the whole section from Kettering South Jn (fast lines only) to Leicester South Jn is booked to be blocked from 2315 every Saturday night, to reopen 0430 Monday morning (Wigston North Jn - Leicester South Jn reopens 0300 Monday morning).
