Remember it well from my spotting days at Doncaster, the platform used to vibrate (well before it arrived) to the beat of that unmistakable sound. Used to work as far as Doncaster from Kings X, then stable up waiting for the return trip. Unfortunately, it couldn't work to Leeds due to platform clearance problems , which IIRC is the reason the production models had the rounded skirts to enable it to get into the now long gone Leeds Central.

Hi
My favourite bank

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ_CfAIR ... annel_page

and this is funny

"22 sounding great as usual.. AND the kettle on the back is hilarious... look like something from Thomas the tank engine "help me help me... this is too fast, I want to get off" PML "

Now this is taken with a long range lens ..... but its a good job D1015 doesn't stall .... because both trains appear to have had green signals...... is the driver checking his train has left the crossover before accelerating ASAP. :o
