Eastleigh 100 23-25 may

Post by energize »

Hello,

did anyone else go to the Eastleigh 100 event? I went yesterday and thought it was very good  Plenty of traction including a 45 - first time I've seen one in the south of England

Unfortunately, someone thought it was a great idea to continually sounds the horn of a DRS 47 parked there. Really pissed me off

I was there today, had the early bird ticket which was good. Brilliant day, managed to cab a few loco's and steamers and got plenty of photos.

Fantastic day!

Andy.

Funny thing that. I mean to go to a railway event with working locos and kids who like to enjoy themselves and find them playing with the horn on a train just like a real engine driver, I mean who would have thought it eh?
