Outside Tonbridge station today by the lineside on the Tonbridge School Fields I saw a train of Pullmans go by top and tailed by EWS 67's.
Can't find what it was but if anyone knows it would be appreciated, connected to Eastleigh 100 maybe?
Will post a video of it later.

Thanks, thought it would be VSOE, but I didn't think it also ran diesel hauled.
Thanks for the information!

In a similar vein, I was enjoying the hospitality offered by the Stalybridge Station buffet bar on Saturday evening (about 7-00), when an empty stock XC 125 pulled into the goods loop (travelling towards Yorkshire) whilst it waited for a couple of scheduled services to pass.
Unfortunately I couldn't tell whether this had come via Guide Bridge or Ashton, but could anyone hazard a guess as to what service it had been operating and / or was going to be operating?
Just curious!

Id guess the XC 125 would have done a Brum trip or something from down south to Manchester Picc, then moving to Yorkshire for a cross run.

The XC HST was possibly the return working of the following services:
0930 Newquay to Dundee
1221 Plymouth to Glasgow Central
