Can't say i have a favourite cab but my favourite loco is Bulleid Merchant Navy Pacific No. 35005 "Canadian Pacific".

Closely followed by Rebuilt West Country Pacific No. 34016 "Bodmin".

Two other locos among my favourites are 0-6-2T N7 No. 69621 & 0-6-0 J15 No. 65462, both are seen in this shot:

If I had to pick a favourite, then I think it would have to be the South West Trains Class 458 - simply as it is the one that I travel on pretty much everyday to/from work

Cant beat a fairburn, especily as I might hopefully be firing 42073 for a few days at the end of the month before she goes in for some work.

Favourite loco would have to be 37518:

Closely followed by 25057:

Favourite Steam Loco: 70013 'Oliver Cromwell'
Favourite Electric Loco: 86501
Favourite DMU: 960014
Favourite EMU: 423911

For cabs, any 37 will do, although I've only cabbed 37324 and 37254.

A HST(Class 125) or a Class 91

My favourite cab is the Class 91 after I saw a Class 91 simulator at Newcastle what my Grandfather who worked for Gner at the time helped put in :D

That's my opinion. However i think a CIG easily beats underground trains, even the 1938 Stock :o
Anyway, lets continue with the thread. 8)

I have found memories of the CIGs and VEPs before they got withdrawn, the reason why 423911 became my fav EMU was because it was the last one I got for 'haulage' (if you can call it that) on the mainline. :(
