Shunter 08890 on the move

Post by geezertronic »

Hello folks

I saw Shunter 08890 on the back of a low loader this morning travelling North East on the A42. Just wondered whether anyone knew where it had come from and where it is going?

Thanks

It's on its way to Booth's at Rotherham for scrapping.

That's a shame. I have a soft spot for Shunters - my first Hornby model when I was a kid was an 08  and 25 years later I still have it :D

Thanks for the reply
