(Special Timetable)
In its new three day format for 2009, the Festival of Steam is a BIG, BIG date to note in your diary now!

Visiting locomotives are confirmed as No. 70013 Oliver Cromwell, making its first visit to the SVR, No. 71000 Duke of Gloucester, No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley and No. 5029 Nunney Castle

(No. 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will now NOT be attending).

Hehe, I'm rather excited about this one. I'm Cromwell's fireman for the first round trip off Bridgnorth on the Friday Morning :D :D :D :D :D :D :D .

Travelled behind 60007 "Sir Nigel" yesterday from York to Bescot. She is running superbly you are in for a right good treat

I'll be down helping at B'north MPD on the saturday, and maybe sunday if i can persued my dad to give me a lift in.

Ah goodie :) Hmm Nice pics :). Damn i would have known it arrived if it had gone to B'north, as i live in-between country park halt and Highley stations.

Aye we have. As i said i'll be down on Saturday at B'north MPD, so i will most likely see some of you & will have my camera, and Saturday i will be down nr the crossing at Country Park/ Nr the Golf course in Highley hopefully with my First D-SLR :D
