Steam Tours from one town/city

Hi

I was looking at http://www.uksteam.info and noticed that on Sat 14th Feb there are 4 steam tours out of London (Victoria x2, Waterloo and Paddington) and it got me thinking the following question

Does anyone know if there is a record for the most steam tours out of 1 town/city in the same day (I am thinking after 1968 onwards)?

It may be a tricky one to answer but could be fun finding out

A few have had 2.
Carlisle had 2 last year as 5690 arrived at Carlisle after 60007. 1st November
Erm Carlisle again about 3 years ago 6233 and 6201 were there
York 4965 and 60009 or something a few years ago there are a few more too!

I think on one day last year York managed four in one day, though I think 2 were passing through.

Lincoln had two A4s on one saturday last year. They also had a GWR kettle the come through the week before.

Hi

I know about the A4s in Lincoln as I was there - will travel anywhere to see an A4.

That was only 1 tour but 2 trains and it doesnt beat the 4 from London next month.

I am hoping someone will remember if more than 4 tours in a town/city in one day.

Originally I was thinking of starting in the same town/city but you can include thru tours but not the returns. lol
