Whilst boarding at Glasgow Central today I noticed what could only be described as a large puddle of water in the driver's cab, I've also noticed that on rainy days when the unit de-accelerates water comes down between the dms-dmsl, is it a design fault or bad up keep?

A bit of both most likely. There will always be leakage around the corridor connections, it's just making sure it's not too bad. At least it's only rain water...

It's the large showers you get on a 458 when it's wet you have to worry about. On several occasions a number of people have been forced to move due to this happening.

Ditto for the seats underneath the vents on the 92 tube stock.
