Now that is different and most certainly impressive. Will definitely be out to photograph that on Friday.

Well they've realised that white doesn't work - how white are NXEC's?

The coaches will be in white and there's nothing wrong with white if they're cleaned regularly.

Yes SWT Express is also white. But HST Powercars are notoriously hard to keep clean. There was a reason why FGW removed the white from their Barbie HSTs... Dark colours hide the oil splats

That looks really good. Better than the Meridian does anyways IMO

[EDIT] Anyone going to be doing this for MSTS? I know theres not strictly a route it could be used on, but still.

If EB are true to their word, you may be able to use it on MML sometime in the not too distant future.

The light clusters need to be changed on the RS model before we can have a realistic version :).

Yeah, I guess... But it could still be in use on Fictional Routes between York and Leeds or Doncaster etc

Looks nice, and as I have a 9am lecture on Friday the 08.27 departure from Sheffield does seem tempting, hmmm now can I convince myself to get up early.

I might go down on the off chance that it works the 14.27 Sheffield - London but I'm unsure of diagrams etc, looks quite different through. The blue on my screen looks a lot lighter than the SWT blue on a desiro, might be the photo though.

A well chosen name for such a train!

Cheers,

Passing West Hampstead this morning running an hour late due to problems in the Wellingborough area.

Think it then formed the 12:25 St Pancras to Sheffield service.

What a shame the buffet cars is still there painted up nice in new livery I knew they would not get rid of them you get much more on the buffet car than you get on a trolley service
