Hi all,
i'm booked on the 1300 departure from Newcastle which is top n tailed by two fine valentas(43095&43119).
Will the wi-fi be sufficient to view forum sites like these?

Anyone had good/bad experiences since the changeover?

Cheers

Andy

My previous experience with the GNER wifi is that it was quite slow, however it did allow me to run MSN and go on all of the sites (including forums) that I wanted to.

I presume it will let you look at porn, since it did say in the usage rules to consider other passengers when viewing dubious sites

Depends on the train, I've had some journeys and the connection is quite fast for a 11MB's connection and other times, it's been worthless and as much use as if it wasn't there in the first place.

On the good trips, the connection is quite good for this site and a few others that I go to, :)

Well I came down on an old rio set, no power points, so the laptop died just south of york, the speeds seemed to be fast enough.
I'll be returning on the 15.00 mallard on thursday so will it be a little faster?

Cheers
