Maybe its a cheaper way of "Painting the Trains Black" with diesel fumes? So that they can spend more money on their promises they made?

Bins, in a station? None of those round here thank you very much.

There's bins on the stations on the Nottingham to Lincoln line, hehehehe. Very few locations remaining now though!

Berkshire SWT lines. No sign of any bins at the stations I pass through each day.

Yea, bins are soo hard to find in train stations nowerdays. None in either Warrington Central or Bank Quay or even Manchester Piccadilly, unless my specs play tricks on me

Thats silly in my opinion - Not only would it cut down on people dropping their little over the stations or on the tracks, it would save the need for them to employee someone to go around picking up the rubbish.

The whole topic of bins and why they were removed in the 1980s from all stations is a little sensitive, especially in Warrington:

It all stems from the 80's when attacks/bombings from the IRA were a very real and present threat at major stations. Obviously the threat of terrorism is still here today hence why you will find no enclosed bins on major (or any other) stations. You may find though open bins with clear refuse sacks.

I suggest doing a little more research on why there might be no bins at stations next time before declaring it "silly".

Anyway back on topic, I actually like the NEXC livery, though I think it would look alot better if "National Express" was a little more subtle.

Also, not leaving any bins anywhere apparently makes people think to take their litter with them and keep it with them...

Some FCC stations on the GN route are making a comeback to having bins on the platforms.

I apologise i didn't do any research to keep you pleased, infuture i will be sure to do so and as far as terrorism goes, not much stopping anyone walking on board a 225 and blowing you to pieces...

Its not about keeping me pleased, its about you claiming something as "silly" when it clearly is not
