Just wondering how would they get trains from the ECML onto the CTRL without using the West London line?
There's an easy connection form the WCML to the CTRL but the only link provided for the ECML as part of the St Pancras end project takes trains onto the NLL.
Any scope for a connection from Stratford International onto the ECML?

funny you should mention the link's sam, the Chord's are in at St pancras for Eurostar's to enable a direct Paris - Manchester or Edinburgh service needless to say wont be used in a hurry. except turning set's.
there's one NofL set with SNCF with no Yellow warning panel on the nose's. i suppose the NofL set's can be used on winter diagram's for brussel'd and PAris with the long international eurostar's going further afield to ski resort's and place's.

Reversing in StP (Intl) is probably the easiest - also allowing for a bit of 'core-route' ridership/revenue to make the train financially viable. There is a direct connection between the North London Chord (Belle Isle-Camden Rd Jn) and St Pancras International - or at least there should be (Quail might be wrong). Also such a link will be useful if the FCC Class 319s are given 'shoes-fitted' clearance over that section of CTRL - getting them from the MML to Hornsey EMUD (pre-T2k) is problematic otherwise.
The 373/3 sets (NoL) are apparently set to go to SNCF for TGV Nord-Europe domestic services. The only 373s cleared for the Avignon and Bourg-St Maurice routes are a small pool of Le Landy's 373/2 fleet - they are modified to run under 1500V DC. There is scope within the 373 fleet for expanded services, without having to call on the NoL sets.

Just been having a look at diagrams/pictures and noticed there is a link from the ECML into St Pancras. Like Matt is suggesting (I think he is) having ECML International trains stopping at St Pancras would maximise viability. Any trains from the WCML could then stop at Stratford and Ashford perhaps?
