I mainly do shift work and therefore don't travel too often during peak times.
I think I prefer 350's for the following reasons.
A quieter and smoother ride. If you sit at a station for several minutes the doors will close and keep out the weather. Air-conditioning. A crowded 321 with the windows closed is not a pleasant environment by the time you get to Euston. If you get a large person sitting next to you they don't sit on top of you as you can pull the arm rest down between you! You don't get draughts coming from various unknown locations. You can't have a conversation on a 321 with all windows open.
The points in favour of a 321 are. For the most part there is more leg room. On a 350 on a stopping service you do become suicidal with all the digitised voice announcements by Sonya.
There might be fewer seats on a 350 but in reality the 3 seats together on a 321 are only for people who wish to become intimately involved with the person next to them.
These are of course my own opinions based on daily usage at various times of the day.

And there was me thinking they just stole the name of Gresley's first A4...MrHillingdon wrote:When Silverlink was created they dished out leaflets explaining the name.
The Silver referred to a term of excellence, such as in Silver Service. The Link was because they linked a lot of places together (honestly).
